KINGS IN LIFE
Introduction:
Point of message is to SEE. Rev.1.5,6;  1Tim.6.15;  Rom.5.17 Amp.
--See our position in Christ
--Exercise our power with confidence
--Experience fruit in our life and growth (multiplication)
What does a king do?
HE REIGNS.
How does he do it? Claim, Bind, Commission (see Conclusion)
--Realizes his position (his authority)
--Realizes his responsibility to consider things and do something about any given situation
--Reviews his potential. You need to know that you have unlimited resources at your disposal to get the needed job done.
--Regards his proclamation, or decree, as final. He speaks with confidence, offering no options, basing his word on The Word.
--Releases his agents (angels) to carry out his decrees
(Ps.34.7; 103.20; Heb.1.14; Ac.5.19; 10.3/11.13; 12.5,7,11,15,23)

One day I received a word of wisdom (one of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit as found in 1Cor.12.7-11). It is a word that God makes so real in your spirit that it is “alive”. It provides a principle of guidance and direction in your life to help enable you to overcome all things. God gave it to me in such a way so that when I said it, it became the confession of my mouth: “I’m a rich man—No struggle”. (2Cor.8.9) I am to speak it often, daily.

The sense in which it came to me was that in Christ, I am presently “rich” in every way and in every realm of life—spirit, soul, body, family, finances, social favor , and with a future in heaven with Jesus forever. It is all given to me without any struggle on my part. That does not mean there is no work involved. It means that yoked up with Jesus, the work becomes easy and light—no struggle. It means you work like a king—with a given authority and glory.

Later, we heard a tape by Terry Mize, a world travelling missionary for 30 years, in which he brings out our position in Christ as priest and king, emphasizing that kings rule and reign by decree. He has demonstrated this for many years in some very powerful ways.

When a king speaks a decree, it’s a done deal, no options. In Christ, we have that same power by the faith of Him. It’s a kingly attitude, a mentality, that is to be developed and maintained, no matter what. It’s a knowing of faith.
This attitude enabled Paul to overcome all things. It will do the same for us.

KINGS IN LIFE

1. Kings are rich. “I’m a rich man. No struggle”.
Faith thinks rich/rests,Fear thinks poor/pleads and begs.

1Tim.6.17-19 Paul taught his preachers to teach this mentality.
Mt.6.19,20 Earthly treasures are tools for laying up heavenly treasures.
3Jn.2 John taught this mentality.
--Given: His Word, His Spirit, His Glory, His Royal Commission to go and do the greater works with His constant presence, provision, and authority. What are we waiting for? We’ve got what it takes! We are Rich!
“I’m a rich man. No struggle.”

2. He made us kings and priests by decree. Rev.1.5,6
Faith is man’s place, Fear is man’s predicament.
Gen. 1.26-28;  2.15,19;  3.10 Fall into fear.
Ps.102.15,16  Kings reverence glory of God, build up Zion from the fall.

--Some are looking for the glory of God. We’ve got the glory. We need to go look for someone to give it to! The manifested glory will be there as we go.

3. We are kings in a spiritual kingdom
Faith sees the unlimited supernatural, Fear limits to the natural.

--No limits. Barriers: Language, Travel, Time,  Prisons, Adversaries. Grace overcomes them all.

4. We are kings who reign by our words King speaks, final.
    Faith speaks, Fear is silent.
2Cor.4.13-18 Faith speaks, knowing Him who raised Jesus.
Mk.7.24-30, “for this saying”. Just a crumb of yours will do.
Lk.7.7  “but say in a word’’  Jesus called it “great faith”

Jn.5.27  We are “in Christ” with authority to execute righteous judgement

Ps.111.4-6,9 God’s unlimited works for all people are in the Covenant

6. We are kings commissioned to “GO TO THE NATIONS”
Faith says go, Fear says no.

Conclusion: (Review the main points.)
SEE that we are kings by Heavenly Decree to reign in life.
--See our position in Christ
--Exercise our power with confidence
--Experience fruit in our life and growth (multiplication)

Claim the King’s Word, by speaking out the promise.
Bind the god of this world off the operation of the promise.
Commission the angels to bring about the provisions of the promise.
See the glory of The King manifest in people’s lives everywhere you go.

“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples” (Jn.15.7,8).

--You are Kings In Life. Think like it, confess it, and act upon it until your life demonstrates it in every way.

“For if, because of one man’s trepass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely willl those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness (putting them into right standing with Himself) reign as kings in life through the One, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One.” Rom.5.17 Amp.
