WISDOM FOR THE HARVEST

Point of message: We become fruitless when we lose the proper focus and we fail to properly use our faith. If we keep our proper focus and if we will properly use our faith, we will be fruitful in the harvest. This message is to direct our focus onto God's interests, and to direct our faith into that which will produce a harvest of souls.  (Actually, here are two messages, that can be shared as one, or, they can be shared in two parts, or more).

Text: (For personal meditation, pick up God's wisdom from these passages)
1Cor.1.17-24--Foolishness of preaching the Word of the gospel;
2.6-12--The Spirit revealing what is freely given to us;
3.18-23--Understanding your position in Christ.

I.    Maintaining Your Focus on God's Interests:
--God seeks to be worshipped in Spirit and in Truth--Relationship Jn.4.23,24.
worship (Gk.)--to kiss, like a dog licking his master’s hand); to fawn or
crouch, to prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore).
--God seeks the lost to save and disciple them unto duplication.
         Lk.19.10;  1Cor.4.16,17; 1Th.1.6-8;  2Ti.2.1.

Point of message: If we maintain our focus on God's interests, of (1) constant intimate relationship with Him, and in (2) seeking the lost to save and disciple them, we are in the position to see the doors that God opens, to receive God's provisions to go through those doors, and to receive His wisdom, protection, and favor, as we fulfill His purpose in our life.
EG. All Christian's purpose: Mt.28.18-20.

Text: 1Ki.3.9-15. Solomon had his focus on taking care of God's people in the best way possible. So God gave him health, wealth, and dominion over his enemies.
    A. Notice, he did not focus on health, wealth, and dominion over his enemies,
but he had all that in abundance. Lk.12.29-32. God is restoring healing and
health, prosperity, and spiritual dominion back to the church, because He is
true to His Covenant Word. With these graces, we are able to fulfill God's
purpose to reach all the world. We keep our focus on reaching all the world,
not on healing and health, prosperity, and dominion over the enemy.
    B. How did Jesus / Early Church take care of God's people the best way
        possible?
        1. With the message of the gospel and the anointing, going about teaching,
preaching, healing, and delivering people from demonic influences.
        2. By calling people to follow Him and training them to go and do the same.

II. Using Your Faith For the Harvest.

Point of message: Begin sowing now, the seeds of your declarations of faith for open doors, for financial and spiritual provisions, for wisdom, protection, and favor, and when the time comes that you need these things, they will already be there for you to walk into them as you take action on the Word.

Text: Gen.26.  Isaac had at least four things in using his faith for the harvest:
First, notice, he moved at the direction of the Word of God, and next, notice that he moved into a land of double famine. But by taking action on God's Word, he was abundantly blessed.
Go, at the command of the Word and Spirit.
Sow the Word into your famished land.
Dig out the stopped up wells.
Deal with adversities and opposition wisely.
Dwell in the land with abundant fruitfulness.

--1-5,24.         Isaac had a Covenant position--the basis of everything.
--12,15,18,25. He had action: Sojourned, Sowed, Dug out dirt, and Worshipped.
--20,21.          He had to deal with opposition and adversaries.
                        Esek--dispute
                        Sitnah--opposition
                        Rehoboth--room
                        Shibah--oath or seven
Beersheba--well of the oath or well of seven (Seven realms of
life: spirit, soul, body, family, finances, social favor, future).
--12-14,19,     He had prosperity which provided him provision for even greater
22,32,33.      increase. Prosperity is given to be enjoyed and invested for more
fruitfulness. 1Tim.6.17-19. God will get it to you because of the
Covenant. It's your responsibility, to let it flow through you.

    1. On the basis of the Covenant, you have a Covenant position giving
unlimited provisions in every way. You have that simply because Father
loves you and gives it to you--no work on your part. It was done before
you were ever born.  Joint heir with Jesus Christ. Lk.12.29-32.
    2. On the basis of the Covenant, you can sow:
        a. your life into God's presence 24/7, availing yourself to Him.
        b. God's Word into your life to surround yourself with the Word.
        c. the Word and Spirit of God into your family. You can sow into your
infants by speaking the Word of God into their lives in faith.
        d. into your ministry, declarations for open doors, provision, wisdom,
            protection, favor.
        e. into the lives of others with finances, prayers, and ministry. You can sow
spiritual things into other's lives in one direction, and reap a needed
harvest in your life from another direction. We are laborers together with
the King in His vineyard. It's a big, world-wide vineyard. If we will take
care of His people with His anointed Word, He will take care of us in
            every way.
   3. On the basis of the Covenant, you can dig wells of Life: (you don't have to
wait for somebody else to come along and dig it out for you)
        a. To tap in on Living Water. It takes water to live in the land.
        b. To dig natural stuff out (natural stuff is like leprosy): fears, reasonings,
            etc. with shovel of Word/Spirit.
--Some wells are full of "I can't", or "You can't", or "I'm sick", or
"I'm poor", or "I'm just not a bold witness", or "I'm just not a
soul-winner", or "I'm just not called to preach or go to the mission
                field".
--You can dig that stuff out and start filling it with, "He has" and "He
can", and "I'm healed", and "I'm rich" and "I can do all things...", and
"I will obey the Great Commission..."
        c. Of learning to overcome opposition by love and patience.
Of persisting when interruptions and oppositions come. Jas.1.2-4.
EG. Many times opposition to your pursuit to dig out your wells comes
from family and friends. Sometimes from fellow church members.
            "Don't go overboard...", they say.
    4. On the basis of the Covenant, you can worship with a continuous
flowing relationship with Father God, which leads us into constant victory.
EG. Military, constant in touch with headquarters in battle.
    5. On the basis of the Covenant, there will flow from your spirit that trusting
relationship with Father God, that will produce the unlimited,
ever-increasing the fruit of His life, love, and power, manifested for all to
hear and see and be drawn unto Jesus for abundant life in every way.

Conclusion:
By maintaining our focus on God's interests, and by using our faith for the harvest, we can be supernaturally fruitful in this day of the harvest of the Lord.
By keeping our focus on taking care of God's people in the best way possible, in the same way that Solomon, Jesus, and the early church did it, we will position ourselves to go through the doors that God opens, and receive His provisions, protection, wisdom, and favor to accomplish His purpose in and through our lives.
By using our faith, in the understanding of our Covenant position, we can take the action of sowing seeds now so we can walk into the harvest later. We can dig out our wells of living water. We can deal with our adversities and enemies. We can worship God with all our hearts and lives by obeying His command to take the gospel to every person from the neighbor next door to the nations of the world. By using our faith in these ways, we can have wisdom for the harvest and reap with supernatural abundance.
Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments", and "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you" (Jn.14.15; 15.14).
The Father's supreme interests are our love and friendship, and that we seek the lost that they be saved, and disciple them to go and do the same.
This is God's Wisdom For the Harvest. Will you walk in God's wisdom today?
"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore by ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is" (Eph.5.15,16).
