WHAT IS CHRISTIANITY ALL ABOUT?

CHRISTIANITY IS ABOUT THIS

Man is a living spirit. He lives forever.
God is a living Spirit. He is Light and the Spirit of Life. He lives forever.
Satan is a living spirit. He is Darkness and the spirit of death. He lives forever.

Because of sin, spirit-man is separated from Spirit-God.

When man's spirit slips out of his body, and his body ceases to live, then man's
spirit is in eternity. He is either joined to the Spirit of God for all eternity, or, he is
joined to the spirit of Satan, apart from God, for all eternity.

It has never been God's desire that any an be separated from Him for any length
of time, and certainly not for all eternity.

So, God did something about it. He sent His one unique Son, who was the express
image of Himself, to do the work necessary so that every spirit-person could be
united with the Spirit-God for all eternity.

Every person who comes to Jesus just the way they are, and entrusts their sin,
their life, and their eternity into His will and keeping, are promised to receive
cleansing from their sin, and union with the Spirit of God. Since God Himself is
eternal life, those spirit-beings who are joined to His Spirit, have eternal life.

IMAGINE THIS

Imagine that every person in the world was just a spirit-being with no body, but,
you could see them as a spiritual body--sort of like Casper, you know. You can see
through them, and all that kind of stuff. You see it as a purely spiritual world, no
flesh.

You see the Spirit of God as a clear, sort of white light.
You see the spirit of Satan as a dark, dirty, shadowy figure.
And, you see each person as either one who is connected up with the Spirit of
God, which makes them of the clear, white type of spirit, or, you see them as one
who is not connected up with the Spirit of God, which makes them of the dark,
dirty, shadowy type of spirit.

Now, looking at all the people in all the world, you would not see but two basic
types: Those who have light in them, and those who do not.

It would not matter of what race, religion or denomination, or of what level of
intelligence a person was, every person would either have the light in them or not.
It's that simple. You can forget all the labels and opinions. Either a person is
plugged in to the Light, or they are in the dark.

SOMETHING TO STAND ON

Now imagine, as you are looking at all these spirit people, all of a sudden you click
on "flesh", and everybody has their flesh body back on their spirit man again. Now
they are all different colors, different religions and denominations, and different
levels of intelligence, and, now you hear all kinds of different ideas and opinions.

One says this is the right way. Another says that is the right way. You see all kinds
of stuff now, that was nowhere to be seen before.

Then, you see God, like a flowing Light, intermingled among all peoples. You also
see Satan, like a flowing Darkness, also intermingled among all peoples.

God rises us before you and makes one simple statement. He says, "I have so
loved mankind, and desired so much that he not dwell in darkness forever, that
I gave My only begotten Son, so that whosoever entrusts their sin, their life, and
their eternity into His hands, to do His will--this person will be joined with Me for
all eternity." Also, you see and hear those who have fully entrusted their life into
His hands nodding their heads in agreement.

Then, you see the Darkness rise up before you performing a religious activity that
produces a type of light, but it is not a clear light as the Light of God. The spirit of
darkness goes into all kinds of rationalizations and arguments almost trying to force
you to embrace the fact that all these different ideas and opinions are all legitimate
ways to have the "light". Also, there are plenty of highly opinionated people who
join in to support the conjectures made, and you notice, some are forceful in
their arguments with a rather hateful expression subtily escaping through the gleam
in their eyes, and through the slight twist in the practiced smile they convey to you.

Having seen the two presentations, you now give thoughtful consideration to what
you have seen and heard.

God says He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, as the way for man to be plugged
into God's Spirit-life.

Darkness says there are many ways.

Now it flashes back into your mind what you had seen earlier. Earlier you had seen
only two kinds of people: people with the Light, and people without the Light.
Then, the question arises in your mind, seemingly from a source outside of youself,
yet the question is in your own mind:

"WHICH WAY WILL YOU STAND ON?"

You realize that if you go with the way of Darkness, then you are calling God a
liar, for God says His Son is the Way. If you go the way of God, then you are
calling Darkness a liar, for he says that you can believe in Jesus, but there are other
ways, too.

One is telling the truth, and one is lying.

When you forget all the reasonings, ideas, and opinions of the flesh, and, all the
circumstances that flesh has brought upon itself, then, you can see clearly who is
the liar and who is telling the truth, for one is Darkness, and one is Light.

God's Word is the True Light. On God's Word you can stand, and on His Word
you can entrust all your sin, your present life and health, and, all your eternity.

When a person stands on The Word of God, embracing His Word as the beginning
and end of all truth, then the Spirit of God comes into that person and does the
work to join that spirit-person to the Spirit-God.

As a person believes and yields to the Word of God, then the Spirit of God can fill
that spirit-person and that flesh body with Himself.

It is when the immortal, Holy, and Good Spirit-God comes into a human spirit,
that cleansing from darkness takes place, and Light fills that spirit-person.

It is when the immortal, Holy, and Good, Spirit-God touches a mortal physical
body, that healing takes place, strength is experienced, and supernatural knowledge,
gifts, and abilities are experienced in that flesh man.

All this and more is the result of standing on the Word of God.

CONCLUSION

So, what is Christianity all about?
It is simply the immortal, Holy, and Good, Spirit-God coming into the spirit and
body of mortal man.

The only way an absolutely holy God could do this, is by the sacrifice of His own
righteous Son on our behalf in order to make total payment for our sin. With Jesus
taking our sins off God's account books, now, God can come in to us and be one
with us, and that is eternal life.

What Christianity is all about is that because of Jesus, we can now be joined with
the Spirit of God and receive all His benefits to us now, plus, when our spririt-man
slips out of this body, we will be with God, in His Light, for all eternity.

That's why we share Jesus with all people everywhere we go.

That's what Christianity is all about.
