WHY SPEAK THE WORD?
God works through His spoken Word.
Do you want God to work on your behalf or on the behalf of others? Speak,
herald, proclaim, preach His Word into that life or situation.
--"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered
them from their destructions"
Ps.107.20.
--"And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom
of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,
cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give" Mt.10.7,8.
--"And they went forth, and preached everywhere,
the Lord working with...and confirming the word with signs following"
Mk.16.20.
--"So shall my word be that goeth forth out
of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish
that which I please, and it shall prosper...whereto I sent it" Isa.55.11
--"...angels...do his commandments, hearkening unto the
voice of his words" Ps.103.20
--"...he cast out the spirits with...word, and
healed all that were sick: that it might be fulfilled...Himself took our
infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" Mt.8.16,17.
--"Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching
in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and
healing
every sickness and every disease among the people" Mt.9.35.
--"...great multitudes came together to hear,
and to be healed..." Lk.5.15.
--"...a great multitude...came to hear him [who
is the Word] and to be healed of their diseases:
for there went virtue out of him [who is the Word] ,
and healed them all"
Lk.6.17-19.
--"... preaching and shewing the glad tidings
of the kingdom of God" Lk.8.1.
--"...he sent them to preach...and to heal
the sick...and they departed, and went through the towns, preaching
the gospel, and healing everywhere" Lk.9.2,6.
Jesus taught the Word, He spoke
the Word into people's lives. As they heard it, faith in God arose
in their hearts, and through their faith in God, they were healed of their
diseases. This is why we are to speak the Word into our lives. God
works through His Word through our faith in His Word, to forgive, heal,
and deliver--
"...but say a word, and my servant shall be healed"
Lk.7.7.
We are to follow Jesus and do what He did.
YOU ARE THE VESSEL GOD HAS CHOSEN TO SPEAK HIS WORD
1. You don't have to be strong, just believe
Godis
strong and true to His Word.
"Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained
strength (praise) because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the
enemy and the avenger." Psalms 8.2 Out of the mouth of babes comes
God's strength = force through praise.
(See how Jesus quoted this in Mt.21.16, calling "strength"
"praise").
2. God has chosen the foolishness of preaching (heralding, proclaiming, speaking) to save (forgive, heal, and deliver in every way) them that believe. 1Cor.1.21.
3. Jesus taught that faith speaks. He said that
it's not how much faith you have that counts, rather, it is what you do
with it. Use it by speaking to the situation. "If ye have faith as
a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence
to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible
unto you." Mt.17.20 Don't take stuff laying down. SPEAK TO IT!
You've got nothing to lose except your pride, that tells you that you are
being foolish to speak God's Word.
Speak to your situation in the name
of Jesus and tell it you don't receive it, and that God's Word says you
are forgiven, healed, delivered, and set free because of what Jesus Christ
has done for you. That's the good news of Jesus!
Rise up and get foolish--speak
God's Word into your situation. That's what God has chosen to save
them that believe! That's what Jesus taught.
4. Rejoice on the basis of the Word of God, when there
seems to be nothing to rejoice about. You've got nothing to lose!
Just do it! This is the most powerful release of faith on the earth.
Abraham did it, and he became the father of many nations, when at the time,
he and Sarah both were unable to have children! He did it at a time when
there was no hope whatsoever. He just did it anyway. He heard God's promise,
received it for himself, and acted upon it by giving praise to God.
Then, both Abraham and Sarah acted on God's Word, and
Isaac came to pass!
"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief;
but was strong in faith giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded
that, what he had promised, he was able to perform" Rom. 4.16-21. God gave
him the Word of promise of a child, and Abraham started praising
him for it before it could ever happen. "Then believed they his words;
they sang his praise" Ps.1-6.12. And it happened.
5. Receive your miracle with thanksgiving. You've got nothing to lose except your bondages. Begin giving God thanks for being true to His Word. "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." 1Thess.5.18. This will change your life, as you give yourself to believe God's Word.
"...the word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (forgiveness, healing, deliverance in every way).
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Prov.18.21
"We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is
written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and
therefore speak; knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall
raise up us also..." (raised up out of sin, sickness, every sorry situation,
and even death itself) 2Cor.4.13,14
"...we also believe, and therefore speak..." If
you believe it, you will speak it.
Not once or twice, but constantly speak the Word of promise into your situation for constant deliverance now. You are going to be speaking something anyway. Be speaking God's Word. Be removing your mountains with the words of your mouth.
"...whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be removed...shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray (speak), believe that ye receive them (right then, by faith), and ye shall have them" Mk.11.24
BEGIN SPEAKING THE WORD TODAY
"...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is
the day of salvation" (forgiveness, healing, and deliverance in every way).
2Cor.6.2
