DISCIPLESHIP--THE POWER OF AGREEMENT IN
MINISTRY

Introduction:
Five for a hundred, and a hundred for ten thousand. Lev.26.8.
One shall put a thousand to flight, and two, ten thousand. Deut.32.29,30.
Jesus sent them out two-by-two. Lk.10.1.
First, we see that two in agreement carries multiplied, compounding power.
Next, we see their agreement is mutual training, mutual focus, one providing a witness for the other, and duplicating what had been imparted to each of them.
    1. They had duplicable training.
    2. Their mutual focus was to get the Word into people's life.
    3. They provided a witness for what was being said. Get a witness!
    4. They identified those who wanted to know more and ministered to them.
Through the operation of this agreement, the kingdom of God was able to rapidly spread at an exponential, compounding rate through every person.
This is the power we all have today, to effectively spread the kingdom of God.

DUPLICABLE TRAINING
Mk.16.15-20--These signs shall follow them that believe. It is by faith.
Jn.14.12-14--By faith, you do the same works and greater works.
We have the same Word and the same Spirit, and we are commissioned to go and do the same works and ministry that Jesus performed.
You can do it because it does not depend on your ability. It depends on your faith being hooked up with His ability and credibility. He does it through you. You are just a vessel to speak the Word by faith so God Himself can be released to perform His works in that person's life. 2 Cor.4.1-14.
Everything Jesus did was duplicable by anyone in any age of time. Just go out and start blessing people by the Word and Spirit of God, and you will be duplicating what Jesus did. Anybody can speak to people one-on-one. Anybody can speak to a group of people and demonstrate the power of God by faith. As we follow on to do those things that we are able to do, more doors  and more anointings and abilities will open up to us.

MUTUAL FOCUS
Their mutual focus was to get the Word into people's lives. Rom.1.16.
The Word does the work as it is carried into the hearts of the people by the Spirit through your ministry. Isa.55.11;  Isa.41.15;  Jer.23.29;  Jer.51.20.
First, getting the Word into people qualifies them. They will let you know if they want more information or not. If they don't--next! At least you have planted the seed for when the "germinating conditions" are right; they will have the Word already in them to grow to manifested life.
Next, if they are interested in more information, you can give them more Word and ministry that will immediately help establish them in receiving the blessings and benefits of the manifested presence of God.
We must get the Word into people's lives.
Jesus presents Himself to others, but does not push Himself on them beyond that. We are commanded to present Jesus (the Word) to every person.
Also, there is a mutual focus to obey the voice (the Word) of the Lord. Not my will or idea or your will or idea, but focus on doing God's will, thereby overcoming all things that would hinder us from getting the Word into other's lives.

GET A WITNESS!
In our home-based business we use 3-way phone calls. First, we present to a prospect what we have to offer them. If they are interested, the next step is to three-way another person on the phone to give them their testimony of how they have received benefits and made money from the business. Many times this person will 3-way others into the call for them to give their testimony. In one phone conversation, the prospect can hear several people from all across the nation give their testimony of receiving benefits and success from being involved in the business. This helps answer many questions the person might have, and it gives them living witnesses to the personal benefits of the business.
In the kingdom of God, living testimonies giving living witness to the Living Word, and this causes hope and faith to be born into the person who hears. Hope and faith leads to action, giving the person impetus to act upon what they hear.
One puts a thousand to flight, but two, ten thousand. A good witness is much more than twice as powerful.

GIVE MORE TO THOSE WHO HAVE
Matt.13.12--Jesus used little stories to qualify people. If they had an ear for truth, He would give them more. If they did not, "Next", and stay friends with them. The time is not right. Maybe they will be open later. But now, minister to those who will receive.
Matt.10.11-15--This principle can apply to homes, cities, regions, and even a whole "generation" of people (Matt.12.38-45).
For those who will receive, get them established in the basic full gospel and teach them how to go and duplicate this into others lives.
As they become a vessel of the flowing stream of the life of God, then God the Father will Himself be teaching them in all the things of the kingdom and multiplying His life through them to others.

Conclusion:
There is multiplied power to pull down strongholds in people's minds when two or more are operating in agreement in presenting the Word to others.
Work with these principles of operation, and you will increase the kingdom, and you will prosper in the kingdom greatly.
Jesus, and His "benefits package" of forgiveness, eternal life, healing, fullness of life and health and joy with supernatural power, family salvation, financial prosperity, and having God's divine favor in every way, is the "product" we offer.
Give the Word and testimonies. Follow up with those who want more. Get them into the "business" and receiving the benefits. Guide them into sharing their life with others. See the kingdom grow and prosper.
There is power in agreement in ministry in this way.                                                       Sun.morn.11-14-99
