A SIMPLE LESSON ON HEALING

"Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole" Luke 8.50.

    The messenger from the ruler of the synagogue's house came announcing the death of the ruler's daughter. Immediately, Jesus counteracted the words by saying,

"Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole."
    Jesus then selected only certain ones to go with him into the place where the "sleeping" daughter lay. The unbelieving bystanders laughed Jesus to scorn when Jesus declared that the girl was only sleeping. They knew she was dead. Jesus then put them out of the house, getting their unbelief away from the girl.
    He then went in to her and took her by the hand and called, saying, "Maid, arise." Her spirit came to her again and she arose immediately, and he commanded them to give her something to eat.
    Here is our lesson.

FEAR NOT
    Perhaps you are facing physical problems, financial problems, family problems, or danger of some kind, or maybe there's something in your life that you just cannot overcome.
    Even if you have worrisome or troubled thoughts, or tremble, or wilt inside with a sick feeling of fear and worry, on the basis of the Word of God, deal with the spirit of fear. Just because you have the effects of fear, does not mean that you must give place to fear. It is a spiritual situation that you can govern.
    Submit to God by saying, "Lord, I submit to you."
    Resist the devil. Resist the spirit of fear by saying "Fear, I resist you." The Word says that when we resist the devil, he must flee from us. James 4.6-10.
    There are all types and manifestations of fear. There is worry, inferiority, panic, perfectionism, criticism and many more evidences.
    Fear gives rise to spiritual defeat, to family division, to financial ruin, to mental paralysis, unwise emotional retaliation, and to physical weakness, disease, and death.
    In every realm, recognize and decisively deal with the spirit of fear on the basis of the Word.
    God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. Sound mind means rational self-control. 2Tim.1.7
    The first step in spiritual, mental, physical, family, and financial healing and health, is to first identify the fears and deal decisively with them.

BELIEVE ONLY
    Jesus did not instruct us to labor for our healing and wholeness. He said,

"Fear not: believe only."
    Believe only. Believe only what? Believe only God's Word. Don't believe, don't cling to the evil or negative report. It was a fact that there were giants in the promised land, but Joshua and Caleb did not give place to that, instead, they declared the promise of God to give them the land. Believe, cling to and declare, the known fact that God is good, loving, kind, merciful, able, and faithful to do what He said He would do. Numbers 13.31,32;  14.6-10.
    Know this, that Jesus paid a high price to secure your wholeness.
    He didn't just do a part job. He paid the price for us to be made whole. That means complete in every way, spirit, soul, body, family, finances, and in all.
    This is provided for us by His love for us.
Fear not. Believe only.
    There are no but's about it.
Fear not. Believe only.
    God is true to His Word.
    Believe only the Word. What does the Word say?  The Word says,

"He that spared not his own Son,
but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him also freely give us
all things?"
Romans 8.32.

    "All things." This is all-inclusive.
    Believe that God will be true to and perform His Word to make you whole in every area of your life.
    His purpose, passion, provision, and power is to make you whole, complete, without lack in any way, so that you are in total joy and peace in every way, in spirit, in soul, in body, in finances, in family, and, in your eternal future.

Fear not, believe only, and you will be made whole.
