WHAT TO DO WHEN THINGS LOOK IMPOSSIBLE

Introduction: Luke 1.37,38
"For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word..."
Get to know God. Spend time visiting with God, and your confidence is built up in who He is and what He wants to do. You find out His nature, His purpose, His plans, and His power, then you have confidence to move in that.  You'll find that  God's plans are always good, and always are for deliverance in every way. Jeremiah 29.10,11 "...I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you...For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
Realize that God, because of what Jesus has done for us, is more accessible than any person on earth. God is the greatest, most important person of all, yet you can "dial Him up" instantly, any time day or night and visit for as long as you desire. We have access to the answers to our impossibilities, if we will just give ourselves to hearing what God has to say. Sometimes it takes a while for us to settle down in our inner man and mind to be able to hear what He is saying. Heb.4.14-16.

PRAY
    A. Repent of known sin and failure to be sensitive to Him. The blood of Jesus washes all our sins away and opens our ears to be able to hear what God is saying. 1John 1.7-9.
Eph.2.13.
    B. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. God is Spirit. As we yield our total being to Him to be baptized in the Holy Ghost and to be continually filled with His Spirit, then our spiritual ears are attuned to be able to hear Him accurately. Acts 2.1-4; 38,39;  Ephesians 5.14-21.

HIDE THE WORD IN YOUR HEART
The Word renews our minds so we hear God's thoughts and plans and not our own nor other people's thoughts and plans. James 1.21,22. Ps.119.24.

SHUN NEGATIVE INFLUENCES AND THOUGHTS
Jesus and the apostles would stay in the positive presence of God in order to do the works of God, even if it meant putting others out of the room. Fear, doubt, and unbelief stops the flow of the power of God. God works through faith. Mark 5.40-43;  Acts 9.36-42

BELIEVE FOR A BREAKTHROUGH
This means to commit yourself to this happening. Make preparations for it. If you believe it's going to rain, you carry an umbrella. If you believe God is going to do the impossible, then you rejoice in this and confess it boldly, and you make any needed practical preparations for it. To prepare for death means to plan a funeral. To prepare for life means to get ready for deliverance. Mark 9.23

HAVE EXPECTATION OF GOD'S GOODNESS TO BE DEMONSTRATED
If this is not in your heart, do the steps above until there is. The more you get to know God's heart and purposes, the more expectation you will have in your heart, because you realize that this is just the nature of God to do good and to always bring deliverance in every way. God only wants to do you good! Romans 5.1,2.

Conclusion:
Luke 1.45. Through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we have access to God, who specializes in the impossible. If we will get ourselves into position to receive, "there shall be a performance of those things" spoken by the Lord. In this way, our impossibilities are God's possibilities--believe and receive, and see God's power demonstrated today.
