God is a covenant-keeping God. God made promise to Abraham to bless his seed, his offspring, and because He could swear by no greater, He swore by Himself to bless and multiply Abraham. It is impossible for God to lie. Because of this, we can have strong consolation that God is working in our household. Abraham believed God, giving Him glory, and after he patiently endured, he obtained the promise. By this same faith, the faith of the Son of God Jesus Christ, we can trust God to work salvation in our household.
Just as we stand on the Word and confess with our mouth for salvation, for healing, for the baptism of the Spirit, for prosperity, for favor, and for blessing, we can stand on the Word and confess for our families to be saved. With Abraham, we can “stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief,” but be “strong in faith, giving glory to God; being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform.” Romans 4:20-21
Ask the Father to show you the promises of His Word and make them real to you by the Holy Spirit. As we pray, believing and confessing the Word, we can receive (Mark 11:24), and we give glory to God for the salvation of our household. By that faith, we can demonstrate the love and truth of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ before our family, and God will be doing the needed work in our lives, and their lives, unto salvation in every way unto His glory. Sometimes, we ourselves must be changed. Genesis 18:19
