Psalms 103: 2-6. Here is God’s mindset and how he moves. When we adopt the same mindset and move with him, these benefits are realized:
He forgives all your sins and sorry attitudes. He does it for our own good! Sin kills and sorry attitudes keep us in a sinkhole. He wants to lift us up to live! He forgives “all” crud so there is no condemnation whatsoever and we can live free!
He heals all your diseases. Jesus demonstrated this repeatedly. The early church demonstrated it. Our experience or lack of experience of healing, does not change God’s expression of love and intent. Our part is to get our mindset lined up with His mindset and keep moving in the same direction that He is going.
He saves you from destruction. We tend to focus on the times we fall into accidents and evil ways, and we are often unaware of how many times we are saved from “the evil way.” If we line up to His mindset, we will always be expecting good things to happen, trusting Him.
He crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies. The fruit of the life of Jesus in us does not result in us carrying a “bear” of an attitude to bully and berate others. This is definitely a benefit because when you sow loving kindness and acceptance and mercy to others, you will reap the same.
He satisfies your mouth with good things, so your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. What you eat and drink, both physically and spiritually, has a direct impact on both your physical and spiritual fitness. God’s mindset is to lead into good, beneficial things to eat and drink for your body, with good, positive words coming out of your mouth that build and benefit yourself and others. “King’s dainties” and “corrupt communications” just work to kill and destroy (Proverbs 23: 1-3; Ephesians 4: 29) .
He does what is right and just for all those who are oppressed. God is working at all times on behalf of “all” who are oppressed. If our mindset is with His mindset, and we are moving with Him, deliverance for the oppressed will be the result. “God anointed Jesus…with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10: 38). Jesus is our example. When we get our mindset and movement lined up with God, the results will be the same. 3-9-15
