Choose to Live

In the world of self defense and survival there is a rule that says you meet lethal force with lethal force. If you don’t, you lose your life.

Jesus said the thief, the devil, and sometimes life in general, has come to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). He comes with lethal force. To conquer the enemy, we must use lethal force. We don’t need to play around with him. Jesus also said that he, Jesus, came to give life and life more abundant. Jesus’ power is greater than the power of the enemy. Jesus left the earth with these words: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth…and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28: 18-20). He sent the Holy Spirit to be in and upon every believer who will receive him. Jesus said, “But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1: 8). This is available for every believer to receive and operate in by faith and by yielding your life to follow him. We can choose to operate in his power or try to make it on our own. Just keep in mind, the enemy uses lethal force, and he must be met with lethal force in order to conquer him. Jesus came to earth to do the will of the Father, which he carried out perfectly. The blood that he shed when he died for us consummated the blood covenant that God established to bless every person in every way. The blood covenant is the basis of all the power of God being available to every person and every family on earth. The New Testament, the new covenant agreement that God established through the shed blood of Jesus, is the lethal force that will conquer the enemy on every level every time for our spirit, soul, body, family, finances, socially, and eternally. Through faith in the name of Jesus, we can choose to release lethal force against the attacks that seek to steal, kill, and destroy. The emphasis is we can choose. We can choose the power of the Holy Spirit, or we can refuse it. We can choose to believe and speak the Word in the face of an attack or we can be passive. Lethal force must be met with lethal force. God has provided the power. It is our choice.
