The Gospel in a Nutshell

A one minute read.

The absolutely holy Father God, sent his absolutely holy Son, Jesus Christ, to bring us, who are unholy, into an eternal Father – Son relationship with him. Turning from our sinful state and embracing the blood sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ is what makes us holy before God. Turning from sickness and embracing the broken body of Jesus Christ is what heals us. We follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit to work out that salvation each day in holiness and health so we can be of loving service in the eternal kingdom of God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3: 16, 17

Jesus, has borne our griefs and has carried our sorrows. He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace – all our guilt, condemnation, and mental torment – was placed upon him. By his stripes – by the beating he took – we are healed. We believe on Jesus for our deliverance in every way. Isaiah 53:4, 5

We publically identify with Jesus by water baptism. We receive his supernatural power upon our lives by receiving the Holy Spirit, the baptism of the Spirit. We remember what he did for us by partaking of the bread and cup of communion. He designed it this way so we could live in victory every day and for all eternity, believing on and following Jesus. Matthew 3:16, 17; Mark 16:16; Luke 12:8-10; Matthew 10:32-39; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32

Read all these Scriptures to see it all in the Bible and be saved in every way.
